Substance Use Facility which provides treatment services for both medical and mental health services as needed. Some examples of services are behavioral counseling, medication, medical devices, withdrawal symptoms treatment, evaluation and treatment for co‑occurring mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, and long‑term follow‑up to prevent relapse.
Mental Health Facility which provides services including therapy or psychotropic medication to treat a person’s mental health issue, reduce symptoms, and improve behavioral functioning and outcomes.
Opioid Treatment Programs Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPs) administer and dispense FDA-approved medications for long-term treatment of opioid use disorder. In addition, patients receiving medications for opioid and use disorder (MOUD) must also receive counseling and other behavioral therapies to include recovery supports to provide a whole-person approach.
